At ES Vinyl & Craft, we are known for our high standards and transparency, so we wanted to make customers aware of a manufacturing characteristic present on these tumblers.

You may notice small white weld marks around the inner rim of the cup (please see product images). These marks are created during the high-temperature welding process used to seal the double-wall construction of the tumbler.

As part of our normal quality control process, we queried these marks directly with our supplier to establish whether they were a manufacturing fault. Following discussions with both the supplier and factory, we have been advised that these weld marks are a normal part of the production process and are present on all tumblers of this style. The marks are created at the fusion points that help ensure the strength and integrity of the double-wall seal.

Whilst the tumblers remain fully functional and suitable for crafting, we appreciate that some customers may prefer a cleaner appearance. Following our discussions with the supplier, they have kindly refunded this batch, allowing us to pass that saving directly on to our customers through a reduced selling price whilst we continue to work with them to see whether the visibility of these weld points can be reduced in future production runs.

We have personally tested these tumblers and have seen many beautiful finished creations made using this style of cup. In our experience, the weld marks are rarely noticeable once decorated and are often disguised completely by popular designs such as lava drips, glitter effects, full wraps, decals, and other creative finishes.

That said, at ES Vinyl & Craft we pride ourselves on being honest and transparent with our customers. We have therefore included photographs showing these marks so that you can see exactly what you are purchasing and make a fully informed decision before ordering.
